Children’s Ministry (Power House Kids)

Our vision for children's ministry (K-6th Grade) is one that values relevant teaching and practical application. We believe children can possess extraordinary gifts, even at an early age, and we seek to provide an environment that supports training and release of those gifts.

A typical Sunday morning involves both children and youth being taught foundational truths---who we are as Christians, applying these to their lives, and then given an opportunity to operate in a comfortable environment where they can use their gifts.

We also allow time for fun through games, drama, art, dance, and journaling, which helps strengthen Christian concepts. Each class is age appropriate, but goals are the same—to understand they have been created for a purpose and can be empowered to walk in that purpose.

Youth Ministry (Frontlines)

Our vision is to create an atmosphere where youth (7th Grade-High School) can develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, discover their gifts and callings, and then be equipped for their life’s purpose.

We meet Sundays at 6:00 PM for a great time of experiencing the Lord in a setting that is designed to teach the language of the Holy Spirit and the foundations of the Word. Our meetings are accompanied by great fellowship as well as some occasional outrageous games.

Young Adults Ministry (College / Career)

Akolutos!

Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. (Acts 28:31esv)

The young adults of this generation are the next leaders in the Church.  Often, a young man or woman comes out of a powerful youth program like the one we have here at ALF only to be “orphaned”. When this happens, the prodigal model is almost enforced in their lives. They are left to fend for themselves and the youthful energy, enthusiasm, and lack of concern about fitting into a societal mold, are soon squashed. If we can connect to this group and continue to fan the flames that have been ignited in them as children, they will become powerful leaders and mould-breakers for Christ!  This will enable us to effectively spread the good news of the Gospel into our community and beyond, mobilized as a mighty army, marching on the gates of hell and TAKING GROUND!! The Akolutos Group meets on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM.
